Thanks for a good blog and some interesting insigts.

You where right about the victory for Denmark against Albania, so lets hope that will make the road to South Africa a lot easier.

Cant wait for the netx chapter of the story, when Sweden is playing Denmark. Fingers crossed for tree more points.

I’m afraid I have to agree with you on the fact that Denmark will win, however I think the score will be either 2:0 or if we play well 1:0. We are missing Lorik Cana, our best player, due to yellow card suspension so this changes the equilibrium of our team significantly so 3:0 or higher is a possibility. Like my friend above I am a a huge fan of the Danish team (whenever they’re not playing Albania of course:) and love to watch their fast paced tactical football. You guys deserve to go to South Africa for sure.

Albania is out of contention, as far as I’m concerned, for even fourth place let alone a berth in the playoff rounds but I hope Denmark secures direct qualification.

As for the second team I am impartial so I don’t really care, but since Hungary beat us twice and it’s such an underdog story I would be pleasantly surprised if they were able to secure second spot and at least go to the play off round for WC Qualification.

Instead of saying good luck to you, I will say God help us…LOL.

Should be a good game – I had forgotten that Albania had drawn Sweden as well! I’m not starting to get nervous, but one shouldn’t underestiate the underdog factor. Especially since this is the first time in a long time that Denmark have gotten the results needed. It’s often that teams fly too long on their egos – we’ll see if this is the case as well.

And on another note, I’d also rather see Albania qualify with us, than Portugal!

Interesting blog, enjoyable read. As an Albanian I couldn’t agree more with you in your prediction but I have to say one thing, the Albanian NT rises up to the occasion when playing “big” teams as evidenced by the draw in Portugal when playing for almost 60 minutes with one man down and the draw against Sweden in Tirana.
This time though I’m afraid your prediction will come true and we’ll be demolished by a fast and strong Danish squad. I believe the last time we played you in Kopenhagen we had our asses handed to us 3-0 so there’s no reason this time should be different. Had we beaten Hungary on Saturday we might have put in a fight but I think the team has given up already.
Well I won’t wish you god luck since you won’t be needing any of it and we’ll need every little bit of it. Having said that Good Luck anyways , I really wish Denmark goes through as opposed to Portugal or Sweden.

I believe you´re right on, regarding the score. The Albanians will be punished. The Danish squad are looking to perform well at the national arena and the won´t fail.
