WELCOME to Denmark!

Hi everyone and welcome,

I’m Christopher, the new author for the Denmark NT. I’ll have a preview post for saturdays game against Malta up and running soon, but first I wanted to just take the time to let you know a little bit about myself!

Im danish, currently studying in Odense (the home of Hans Christian Andersen). Im originally from Copenhagen but have had a very international upbringing, having lived in New York, Connecticut, California, The United Kingdom and The Netherlands.

Football is my life. Im a long time supporter of AS Roma (some of you might know me as CMP over at Chris’ Roma blog). The danish NT is however something extremely special for a dane. Its our national sport and we’ve had a lot of success internationally, despite the fact that we’re one of the smaller european contries. However, the last handful of years have not lived up to expectations. Denmark is a team that should always be present at the final tournaments, however, we weren’t at WC Germany 2006 or EC Austria/Switzerland 2008! This is not acceptable and its about time we change this unfortunate trend of “close but no cigar”! So join in and cheer on Tomasson, Poulsen, Bendtner and the rest!
